Think about the size of the pipes in your home. If the water bill is so high that it couldn’t possibly be a leaking tap or faulty washing machine line, it’s probably something far larger.

3. A marked decrease in water pressure:

If you suddenly notice that the faucets and showerheads in your home have lost all their oomph, there’s a good chance that somewhere in the line you’ve sprung a leak.

4. Water discolouration:
